They probably sound like your typical oldie joints.  But once you really dwell on those funk, soul, jazz, experimental joints from those times you’ll see why they stand out.  It’s a shame people only appreciate it until their favorite producer makes a gem out of it.  Sometimes you gotta grace those joints before anyone even puts their hands on it.  That’s what gives these dude that ear for it in the first place.  The technicality in the flip is great but the creative mind set of the originals is just too much to describe.
